The Joy of Dining at the Masters Table

To leave behind the repetitive sin in your life and stop returning to it you need a complete life style change, this is a choice only you can make. What you eat and drink, your daily spiritual manna from God’s Word. ¹  What we put in is what we get out.

Daily making time to be with God is essential for a healthy relationship with the Lord. Jesus often spent the night in prayer, ² He also got up early and found a solitary place to talk with the Father. ³

First spending time in worship followed by an inner self searching with a repentant heart, ⁴ giving thanks to the Lord for his many blessings. Learning the art of being still, before God and listening more than speaking. Praying and reading the Word and then listening for Gods voice.

God communicates with His children in various ways. Visions, dreams, pictures or images. Others can actually hear his voice audibly, some hear his quiet voice within themselves. Some a clear check or inner knowledge in their spirit. Do not take another persons experience as standard.

Let the Holy Spirit guide you that is why Christ sent Him.

God will work and communicate with us where we are most receptive if we take the time to build a daily relationship of intimate fellowship with Him.

To daily dine with the Master at His table is a joy to look forward to. As with most things in life to get the results you want you have to be prepared to put in the time. If you want a closer relationship with your spouse or children then you need to invest the time in them, it is the same in getting a closer relationship with the Lord.

Pursue a relationship with God rather than an experience with Him.

Start making Prayer your lifestyle choice by praying that it would be a desire of your heart to spend more time daily with Jesus tasting the delicacies of the His table, eating heartily his manna and drinking deep from His living waters. ⁵ You will not regret it.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears My voice and opens the door,
I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
Revelation 3:20 New King James Version (NKJV)
