On Sunday, 28th of July we were honoured to have Pastor John Macey  preach the Word of God to us.  He spoke upon the current state of the global Church being invaded by Apostasy just as it is described in God’s Word.

The Hyper Grace Movement as well as Chrislam are just two types of the apostasy currently being preached around the world. Many churches spend most or all of their time occupied with seeking “signs, wonders and financial prosperity” that they neglect the true preaching of the message of the gospel of Christ – which is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe…. see Romans 1:16 – and the teaching of the true doctrines of scripture.

False Teachers and Their Destruction
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
2 Peter 2 (NIV)

To avoid the false teachings and becoming a part of those that turn away from the Truth in these latter days, we must draw closer to God. We must invest more time in growing in our relationship with Him. Let’s ask ourselves the question, where are we in our personal walk, worship and quiet time with Christ? Let us commit, let us Study the Word, talk to Him, and take the time to listen and be filled with the Spirit. In this we will find true spiritual nourishment and life. God loves it when He is at the center of our lives because then we spend quality time with Him instead of giving Him the left overs. Remember we must test everything against God’s word, if God is really speaking to us what He is communicating will always align up perfectly and agree with scripture.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world
